Fax Marketing is Here to Stay!

1Fax marketing is an excellent way to generate sales leads via a business to business approach. A local company will have all of the necessary tools and software to make your campaign successful.   It will look professional and elegant; while at the same time executing it in an efficient and cost-effective way. You can even include images in; and coupons with, your messages. Of course they will do it in such a method as to ensure it is in compliance with the rules and regulations of the FCC and other relevant agencies.
An important aspect of a fax marketing expert is that they will know how to upload your fax documents and manage all of your fax lists; as well as schedule delivery times and dates and will control and monitor the entire process from its start right up to its completion. They can service a wide array of clients ranging from small businesses all the way up to large companies who want to send out literally thousands of facsimiles.
Nowadays with modern technology, a fax broadcast can be sent in less than 2 seconds.   In years gone by fax systems were fairly expensive and quite complicated to use. However now they have gone through a complete change and are exactly the opposite – user-friendly and cost-effective. This is a big reason why the usage of facsimile machines for many and varied ways has increased dramatically. Your chosen company can assist you with all of your business marketing needs.
The use of fax broadcasting for a company’s business to business advertising methods has grown tremendously. An important aspect of this is the increase in your ability to interact with current and prospective customers. It has proven to be the fastest and least expensive way to reach these important people. Most broadcasting companies can develop your applications AND manage and host them as well. This is done quickly and in such a way as to customize each project to your specific needs.
Fax advertising is a marvelous service for you to use. Your company can make sure each of your fax campaigns is in compliance with the rules and regulations of the FCC and the TCPA. These agencies preside over the fax ad world and typically prohibit the majority of unsolicited ads. They will code and create all of your marketing fax campaigns with an EBR exemption as defined by both of those agencies. In addition to that they can make sure the sender gives each recipient sufficient notice and any contact information which they may use to opt-out of all future faxes from them.
An additional service provided by your local expert is fax blasting. You can use this when you are not able to convert your Word document to HTML but you must send out an email to your entire contact list. In their office, they will set everything up for you; message, graphics, coupons, and when it meets your approval they will send it out to everybody on your contact list.

Tips on Fax Broadcasting Strategies

Fax broadcasting is one of the newest forms of reaching people with information about upcoming events, sales at your business, product information, product recalls, and almost every type of information that you can imagine. Sending a fax broadcast is very inexpensive, more effective than telemarketing with phone calls, and easy.
Fax advertising allows you to reach a large number of people with the information about your product. When you send the same information by mailing circulars to everyone in your town, your circulars will more than likely be thrown in the trash by the majority of the recipients. When you engage in fax marketing and send the pages to everyone on a fax list of potential customers, then you are going to know that the people at least read the paper before they throw it away.
Fax blasting costs less than sending circulars through the mail. With circulars you must have them printed and then you must pay the postal service to deliver the items. When you send a fax blast you have only the one sheet of information that is being sent to everyone on your fax list. You do not have to pay to have that sheet of information printed or mailed.
The fax blast also goes to a target audience that you have selected to receive it, where a mass mailing or mass email campaign will send the information to all types of people. You will have more control over who sees your advertising and that will increase the positive results from your advertising campaign.
Make your fax list up of past clients that might be interested in the product you have to offer. Create a fax page that is simple, to the point, and easy to read. Then go online and use a fax blasting marketing company to help you establish a time and date when all of the people on your list will receive a fax from you. It is really that simple, takes only a few minutes, costs virtually nothing, and gets positive results from three quarters of the recipients.
Keep the fax that you send limited to one page. People are in a hurry and they are not going to take the time to stand by their machines and read several pages of information. If they are interested by the page you send they will contact you for further details.
Keep the page you send simple. People are more likely to scan the page than they are to sit down and read it. Keep the information formatted in such a manner as to allow it to all be absorbed while a person is scanning the document. This will insure that you reach more people with the message you are sending.
If you are having a function, benefit, or dinner that requires you to know who received the fax and who is coming to the event, remember to include your phone number, return fax number, email address, or some other way that the people can contact you to respond.

How to Structure Your Fax Broadcasting Message

A successful fax marketing campaign starts with a well-structured fax broadcasting message. Since you are limited to expressing what you need to say about your products or services in just one standard fax paper or sheet of office paper, you need to think of your content and how your content should be structured when you compose your fax broadcast.
So what does your fax broadcasting message should look like for it to become effective. Here are some strategies to successfully launch a fax marketing campaign:
  1. Always place your company name, logo and address on the top of the message. Your logo must be clear even if it is printed on black and white and of course your address or any contact details readable near your company name and logo.
  2. Compose your fax message for or your fax advertising in a clear and straightforward manner. Follow the who, what, where, when and why format of structuring information in your fax message. Remember that long messages could only bore or could be uninteresting to your recipient; a short and straight to the point message is better and easy to understand.
  3. If your campaign needs to refer to different products or services in a more detailed manner then you should include information on how your recipient could find your site online for more information. Include your site address, social media links (Facebook or Twitter) and any other relevant online information.
  4. Compose your campaign in a natural way, remember to appeal to what your customers could get out of your products or service so they would exactly know what to get and take your offer soon enough. Begin your campaign message in a catchy tone. So instead of just sending a fax marketing message or fax advertising about a your coffee shop down the street, why not appeal to your customers by beginning the message with “We got your favorite cup of coffee waiting for you!”
  5. Your marketing message could depend on the products or service that you are promoting. For instance a message with menu listing of the food offered in a coffee shop would be totally different from a fax broadcast message about a copier service or a website design service. You should also create separate messages according to special marketing groups like a different message for potential customers that live in a specific area as well as a general message for all recipients.
  6. Who can better judge your fax marketing message than a representative of your target market? Take a sample and then send it to potential customer and see what happens. Call the customer afterwards and ask for his or her opinion on the matter.
  7. Use fax blasting or fax broadcasting software to help you manage your fax advertising needs. There are software programs that could even help you structure your message and edit your work just before you send a fax transmission. You may avail of free or paid fax messaging services online. Have a Fax Blast!

A successful marketing strategy relies on more than one way of delivering vital information. Your sales reps may be meeting with current and prospective clients. The marketing team and select members may attend industry events and trade shows to promote your company’s services and products. Staff or an outsourced group may labor to prepare mass mailings. But have you considered adding fax blasts to your advertising kit bag?
Fax advertising benefits
It is tempting to believe that fax advertising is too old-fashioned and of diminishing value in a techno world of endless apps and social media marketing. Yet fax marketing can be a complementary partner in your marketing strategy. Consider these benefits:
  • Low cost – the cost of using fax blasting can be considerably lower than that of direct mailing. Cost per transmittal is considerably less than standard postage costs, no cost for paper, ink, printing, or the labor related to preparing each direct mail piece. Outsourcing fax distribution further reduces the direct impact on your in-house workforce.
  • Faster delivery – fax blasts are delivered in a matter of seconds, not days. Thousands of faxes can be sent per hour while a direct mail piece will take several days to reach its destination.
  • Guaranteed viewing – people experienced in the fax marketing industry insist that you are guaranteed at least one view per fax whereas a direct mail piece often is thrown away unopened.
  • Fax quality – many of today’s fax machines are able to receive and print readable faxes at 200 dpi. Your important news is received by your target audience in good reader quality.
  • Choose the timing – fax broadcasting can be scheduled to transmit at any time of day or night, and scheduled days, weeks, even months in advance. Your message, sent at the most receptive point of the day, can increase viewer reading and positive response.
  • Personalization – broadcast vendors can personalize documents utilizing merge functions and select data fields of your choosing to customize each document as it is faxed.
  • Tracked results – each fax can be tracked so you know which faxes successfully transmitted and which bounced back or were otherwise not delivered.
  • Retry–many fax units can be programmed to retry faxes up to three times when they have reached busy signals; vendors may also provide this service and forward reports on transmittal results.
Ready, set – blast
With the proper fax equipment and software, you can be transmitting fax blasts in no time.
  • Prepare a master fax list of recipients. This may be done through purchased software or through outsource vendor assistance. You may also create sub-lists that focus on specific target audiences. Industry-specific fax lists may be rented or purchased, too.
  • Set up your broadcast fax options including time of transmittal, recipient fax numbers, and retry attempts. Fax blasting options are often part of the “Additional” or “Advanced” functions menu.
  • After you have completed the fax broadcast setup, scan the document(s) to be faxed. The document will be stored in the machine’s memory and not transmitted until the predetermined time.
  • Most broadcast-capable fax machines can generate reports following fax transmittal. These reports show the total number of transmissions attempted, and the number of faxes that could not be successfully completed (disabled fax lines, wrong fax numbers, or busy/offline faxes).
Fax advertising can be a powerful adjunct to your marketing campaign. So when you need to issue press releases, product information, announce special promotions, or issue invitations to trade shows and other special events, remember tofax blast!

How to Create a Fax Broadcasting Campaign

You might have heard about people who use fax broadcasting as an effective and cost-efficient means to promote their business and/or new products and wondered how that works. A fax broadcast refers to sending a fax document to multiple fax numbers at the same time. Naturally, this can’t be done from your office, using a single fax machine, as it would be very time consuming. Instead, you can use dedicated software and send faxes directly from your computers to thousands of recipients at once. You can either do this in-house or resort to a professional company. Whatever you choose, the steps of a fax blasting campaign are very easy and they do not require a technical background.
Step 1
Before sending out your first fax blast, you need the above-mentioned software. You can purchase fax broadcasting software in just a few seconds, but, before doing so, you need to make sure that it is compatible with your operating system. Otherwise, it may not work at all or take up too many of yopur computer’s resources, thus making the process very slow.
Step 2
Prepare the list for your fax broadcast. This list is comprised of fax numbers that you wish to send your message to. The software is usually equipped with features that allow you to pull this list from your sales database or even from a customer billing system. Cheaper versions of the software will only allow you to use spreadsheets or introduce each number manually. The good news is that you only have to do this once. The software memorizes your list; of course, in time, you can edit it, delete certain numbers, add new ones and so on. You can also create more than one list; for instance, you may need a list for existing customers (to which you send news about loyalty programs) and one for prospective clients (to which you send news about promotions). Of course, you can also merge them: old clients deserve to know about the promotions, as well.
Step 3
Prepare the document for the fax blast. Some companies provide you with templates that you can choose from. All the graphic work is done and all you need to do is insert your own text.
Step 4
Configure the fax blasting. During this stage you will assign a certain date and time for the messages to be sent. You can assign different times to some of your fax numbers, or send them all at the same hour.
Step 5
Assign a document to each list. If you have more than one list, make sure that the correct document is assigned to each of them or your fax broadcasting campaign may have little to know success.
Step 6
Send out the fax broadcast. Most programs will send out the faxes in batches, especially if they have to work with larger lists. Nonetheless, the software is also capable of redialing busy, non-answering or turned off fax machines. When the campaign is completed, the software will generate a report of which fax were delivered.

Maximize Your Advertising with Fax Marketing

Ever wonder if those direct mail pieces you so carefully crafted really got noticed?  Or if that e-mail blast you sent out just got dumped into the “spam” box?  Try using fax marketing instead.  This targeted form of marketing makes sure that your ad is received – we keep trying a busy number until it connects, and we use your customer base so you can target your campaign.
Fax broadcasting started in the 1980s when business people realized that not only did more people have fax machines than ever before but that faxing was an effective way to reach hundreds or even thousands of people almost instantly.  We’ve modernized the process so that you have complete control of the campaign and that you receive reports which let you know how effective your campaign has been, so you know what to do for next time.
We make it easy to send out your advertisements – just upload your database, upload your ad copy, schedule when you want it sent, and let us do the rest.  We’ll do your fax broadcast when you want, and you can suspend it at any time, or reactivate it when you are ready.  If you need to add or remove a number, it can be done easily. You have complete control, all from your own computer.
We use your database to keep down on the “spam” feeling, so you know your fax blast ad will be well received.  We’ll also help make sure you comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in the United States and the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission guidelines by using only real phone numbers provided us, and we’ll give you a way to include an opt-out option on every page.  If you wish, you can add an opt-in option so that people who want to get back on your list can do so.
Fax blasting can send out a coupon quickly that you can use to encourage customers to come see you, and which you can easily track to find out just how effective your campaign was.  Do you need a template?  We can help with that, too.
Fax advertising can also be copied and shared, so your message reaches further.  It can be difficult to reach new customers or generate new sales leads, but fax blasts are one way to overcome this hurdle. We don’t charge you for any numbers that do not receive, so you won’t lose anything.  We also have no minimums, so no matter what size your business is, we can help you.
Our ability to send to a fax list for you means its one less thing you have to try to find time for in your packed schedule.  Your sales people can work on capitalizing on the responses to the ads instead of trying to gain new leads the slow way.
At www.faxbb.com, we do nothing but help you run a successful fax ad campaign.  Contact us today and see what we can do.  We can’t wait to hear from you!
